About Casa Origen

The \"\" Mundo Origen \"\" and its 8 hectares of countryside located in Pirque, a commune renowned for its nature and wine tourism, are home to gardens and our old Villa Virginia country house built in 1883, together with our schools, Origen Farmer Market, orchards productive, cabrerío and cheese factory. We offer lodging service where you can rest, do your work meetings, events, retreats and walks. We organize various workshops for groups and families: organic garden, ceramics, beekeeping, a guided tour to learn by doing or simply ensure their rest and healing. We have accommodation capacity for 32 people in double and shared rooms with private bathroom and facilities for retreats of up to 100 people. This contains spacious rooms for workshops, meetings and seminars, swimming pools and gardens. Our history This property was centuries before the governor of the Kingdom of Chile, Don Rodrigo de Quiroga. Who came to Chile with Pedro de Valdivia and was married to Doña Inés de Suárez. His descendants built the current house dating from 1883. One of his owners, Hernán Prieto Subervaseaux, founded the Pirque commune in the Maipo Valley famous for its high quality wines. Thanks to various donations, Villa Virginia belongs to the Fundación Origen and is destined to generate the resources to support the education of young people and adults. By choosing us, you are supporting our social, educational and ecological transformation programs. Really enjoyed our stay! Perfect for our little family. My only recommendation would be to put more information on your website. Your place was recommended by an acquaintance. It was virtually impossible for me to find information online about your facilities and what to expect (few photos too), and I had to write to you several times before getting answers. We almost considered not booking because we didn’t know what to expect, but we were really glad we did! It was very hot in the room when the kids went to sleep, so a fan would have been nice.

Lugar y entorno precioso, todo el personal, desde Ezequiel, la Carola y la gente que nos atendió un lujo, grandes profesionales, las piezas lindísimas, el mercado precioso y la gastronomía increíble, lamentablemente el entorno un poco descuidado, pastos sin cortar, malezas altas, sillones mimbre sin barnizar, etc
